The 2024 to 2025 season went well for the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls golf team, with a total of 5 players making it to the Tri-Valley League Individual Finals, which took place at the Olivas Links Golf course and Santa Barbara Golf Club. Ultimately, only Audrey Yoong '26 ended up advancing to the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section postseason, however the entire team showed dedication throughout the season.

With the end of the 2024 to 2025 school year around the corner, Foothill Technology High School's (Foothill Tech) variety of sports are coming to an end for the season, most on a successful note. With boys volleyball, girls basketball, baseball, and the boys tennis team making their way to their respective California Scholastic Federation (CIF) tournaments, Foothill Tech faced off against some of the toughest competitors in Calif., showing the extent of Foothill Tech's overall success.

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) softball team finished their 2024 to 2025 season with a Tri-Valley League record of 1-7, placing them at 5th. Their overall record ended up being 8-9. Despite hardships throughout the Dragons were able to end their season on a high note, beating Nordhoff High School (Nordhoff) handily, with a final score of 7-0, highlighting Foothill Tech's commitment and dedication to the sport. *note this is from last season*

During the game on May 5, 2025 the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys' baseball team went against St. Bonaventure High School (Bonnie). This was a compelling game which closed out the Dragons season as they remain undefeated in league. Garrett Ready '26 (number 22) cheering with the rest of his teammates for the players out on the felid from the sideline. The teams camaraderie and encouragement was a key component on Foothill Tech boys' baseball teams overall success.

Following a narrow loss to Ventura High School, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys volleyball team was fired up and ready to face Dunn School (Dunn) on April 1, 2025. Through their teamwork and strong offense, they emerged victorious, 3-0. As his teammates watch from the bench, Elijah Haigh '25 (number 15) gets ready to serve the ball to the other side, to hopefully get yet another ace. Haigh's powerful swing came in handy not just for his serves, but also for his hitting, as he got many kills from the opposite hitting position.

On the evening of March 21, 2025, Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys volleyball took on the Ventura High School (Ventura) volleyball team at Cabrillo Middle School. Despite a rocky start, ending in a Foothill Tech loss for the first set, the team came back strong, winning the second and third set. Despite this comeback, the Foothill Tech boys' team ultimately fell short, losing in the last two sets to Ventura. Foothill Tech performed well, displaying powerful hitting, skilled defensive plays and several well timed blocks. Seen above is one of Foothill Tech's many skilled hitters, Styles Haley-Kettler ’28, hitting a ball on Ventura's side of the court.

The game honored their graduating class of seniors, as their season winds down to an end. Each senior received flowers and heartfelt speeches from their teammates. They took a clear lead from the beginning, and ended up securing a win 5-0. Violet Polley '26 approached the net, focused on the ball approaching her. She successfully volleyed the ball and placed it right at the feet of her opponent at the net, winning the point. Polley, playing line two doubles during the tennis season, used her strengths from playing singles prior, consistently placing groundstrokes out of reach.

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys' soccer team’s run for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division Five championship was put to an end on the night of Feb. 16, 2024, at the semifinal game that took place at Ventura High School's (Ventura) Larrabee Stadium.

On Feb. 8, 2024, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls’ basketball team took to the court in the first round of California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section. The Dragons won against Crossroads High School (Crossroads) with a score of 36-32. Good defense was displayed by Olivia Mowad ‘24 (number 32), Petra Falcocchia ‘24 (number 23), Lauren Kaller ‘25 (number 0) and Kiara Zavala ‘26 (number 5). Although the score was tight, the team handled the pressure well and will now move onto the next round of CIF.

The night started with a recognition of the two seniors on the team, John Cassidy ‘24 (number 14) and Daniel Ferrer ‘24 (number 2), then proceeded to the game. The Dragons took the win at the end of the night with a final score of 48-26.
