On Dec. 16, 2024, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls basketball team competed in a league match against St. Bonaventure High School, (Bonnie) and lost 47-76. Kiara Zavala ‘26 (number 5) runs the ball up the court starting an offensive play with hopes of catching up to St. Bonnie.

On the night of Nov. 25, 2024, Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) varsity soccer players faced off against Santa Clara High School (Santa Clara). They took a clear lead from the beginning, and ended up securing a win 5-0. Conner Bursek '25 (number 19) can be seen putting pressure on Santa Clara's defense, and aiding the Dragons to mainitan their win. He looks for an opportunity to pass to his teammates further down on the field.

On Nov. 18, 2024, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys soccer team took to Fillmore High School (Fillmore) to compete in a non-league match. The Dragons gave it all they had, but lost 1-5.

Violet Polley '26 approached the net, focused on the ball approaching her. She successfully volleyed the ball and placed it right at the feet of her opponent at the net, winning the point. Polley, playing line two doubles during the tennis season, used her strengths from playing singles prior, consistently placing groundstrokes out of reach.

On Oct. 3, 2024, Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls tennis played Villanova Preparatory School (Villanova) at Ventura College. The team tied in sets with a score of 9-9, but ultimately lost with an overall score of 78-79. On the blazing day of Sept. 5, 2024 the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls golf team took their skills to Olivas Links Golf Course, against surrounding Ventura high schools. Pictured here is Bella Baum '26 kneeling down to line up her ball to achieve the perfect putt. She finished with a score of 50, having the second lowest score of the team, and contributed to the total of 274 that Foothill Tech scored. The team placed third overall behind Ventura High School (Ventura) and Saint Bonaventure High School (St. Bonnie).

Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls tennis team finished third in the Tri-Valley League. They were led by their captains, Lola Tennison ‘24 and Kira Branson ‘24, in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) when the team received a wild card and got to play.

Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls golf team had a very successful 2023 season. The girls went undefeated in league, became Tri-Valley League Champions and had two players, Audrey Yoong ‘26 and Piper Singleton ‘24, make first-team all-league.

Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys tennis brought home a California Scholastic Federation (CIF) division four title, placing first in league with a record of 6-0, remaining undefeated. In CIF, they placed second among the 27 top competing teams in Calif. Southern Section.

The soccer season is short, action packed, tiring and can go by in the blink of an eye. The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys' soccer team’s run for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division Five championship was put to an end on the night of Feb. 16, 2024, at the semifinal game that took place at Ventura High School's (Ventura) Larrabee Stadium.

On Feb. 8, 2024, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls’ basketball team took to the court in the first round of California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section. The Dragons won against Crossroads High School (Crossroads) with a score of 36-32. Good defense was displayed by Olivia Mowad ‘24 (number 32), Petra Falcocchia ‘24 (number 23), Lauren Kaller ‘25 (number 0) and Kiara Zavala ‘26 (number 5). Although the score was tight, the team handled the pressure well and will now move onto the next round of CIF.

To commemorate their seniors, Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls’ basketball secured another league victory against Cate High School (Cate) in their last home game of the season on Jan. 25, 2024. Adding to the win, it was also the team’s Senior Night, where they honored their seniors with speeches, flowers and balloons.

Celebrating the team's seniors, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys’ basketball team faced off against Villanova Preparatory School (Villanova) on Feb. 2, 2024. The night started with a recognition of the two seniors on the team, John Cassidy ‘24 (number 14) and Daniel Ferrer ‘24 (number 2), then proceeded to the game. The Dragons took the win at the end of the night with a final score of 48-26.
