The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) softball team placed 4th in the Tri-Valley league with a record of 2-6. Although they had an overall record of 10-10, they unfortunately didn’t qualify for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls softball team finished the season with a record of 2-6 in league play and an overall record of 10-10.

Jocelyn Morales ‘28 led the way offensively for the Dragons with a batting average of .475 and 25 runs batted in. Liliana Gonzalez ‘28 and Kyra Bouchard ‘27 followed closely behind with .455 and .400 averages respectively.

Mackenzie Warren ‘29 led the way with a 5.18 earned run average as a freshman, indicating strong defensive potential for the Dragons moving forward.

Although the team failed to make the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) postseason, Warren and Morales indicate strong potential for the next few years, and the team looks to improve on their league standing heading into the 2026-27 season.

The seniors' families gathered for a post-game ceremony. Each girl received flowers and a specialized gift bag from the team, thanking them for their dedication to the program.

On March 3, 2026, the Foothill Technology (Foothill Tech) girls varsity softball team played against the Fillmore Flashes, winning 6-4. The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) softball team finished their 2024 to 2025 season with a Tri-Valley League record of 1-7, placing them at 5th. Their overall record ended up being 8-9. Despite hardships throughout the Dragons were able to end their season on a high note, beating Nordhoff High School (Nordhoff) handily, with a final score of 7-0, highlighting Foothill Tech's commitment and dedication to the sport.

Sports retrospective: a Foothill Tech 2025-26 athletics in review
Foothill Technology High School’s (Foothill Tech) girls volleyball team had a remarkable 2025-26 season with an overall score of 17-10 and 7-1 in the Tri-Valley league. With incredible and continuous improvement, the team has made a remarkable turn around from the 2024-25 season, even going so far as taking large steps in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys golf team had a great 2025-26 season. They ended with a record of 3-3 in League, and 5-5 overall. Sebastian Huovinen ‘27 competed as first team at CIF, accompanied by Ben Markov '27, who competed as second team. Huovinen is seen preparing to drive the ball, with the intention of attaining the lowest score at the end of the match.

Throughout the 2025-26 school year, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls basketball team performed extremely well, ending in 3rd place with a record of 4-4 in the Tri-Valley League. The Dragons made it all the way to round three of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Playoffs. By the end of the season, they had an overall game record of 12-11.

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys basketball team had a good season over the 2025-26 school year. The Dragons finished their season 3rd with a score of 5-3 in the Tri-Valley League. They made it to the first round of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Playoffs, but ultimately lost to Carter High School, ending their season.

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boy's soccer team played well throughout the 2025-26 school year. They placed 3rd in the Tri-Valley league with a record of 2-5-1 and an overall record of 4-13-1. The dragons ended up making it to the second round of California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) in the Southern Section, but failed to progress due to an intense game against Fairmont Preparatory Academy.

Despite their efforts, they were unable to qualify for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).

They finished the Tri-Valley league with a record of 7 wins and 3 losses. Along with this, they had a overall record of 16-9. The team also made history whilst winning the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Division 7 Championship, marking the first time in the program that the team had achieved victory.

Throughout the season, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls golf team remained a daring opponent in the 2025-26 school year. Six Dragons qualified for the Individual California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Playoffs and the team won the Ventura Cup. The Dragons went to CIF as a team, but ultimately lost in the first round.

Foothill Tech's girls water polo team had a stellar season, finishing tenth in the Division 5 California Interscholastic Federaton (CIF) Southern Section. At the end of the season, the Dragons ended with an overall record of 11-6 and finished second in the Tri-Valley league with a record of 4-2.

During the 2025-26 season the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys water polo team tried their hardest and put in tremendous effort. Unfortunately, this effort was not translated to their win and loss record. Overall they had a record of 5 -10 and a league record of 1-5. Despite their low-scoring record, the team competed with strength and tenacity throughout the season.

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls varsity tennis team had a great season with an overall record of 6-5 and a Tri-Valley league record of 4-2. Continuing the season, girls tennis was able to advance and qualify for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).
