The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys tennis team swung hard in the 2025-26 season, placing themselves first in league. The boys held a 9-3 overall season record and 6-1 in league play. Their first place seat in the league would advance them into their California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoff post-season.

Due to their dominant performance in the regular season, the boys qualified for a higher division seat in playoffs. Despite playing in a higher division, the boys stuck to the challenge, but eventually fell short and lost in a tiebreaker. The team was defeated by two games.

All throughout the season, Dylan Files 26’ and Greg Davis 26’ were the golden duo. This duo stacked the line 1 doubles for the Dragons; and their consistent play made them reliable players in taking home 3 points for their team. In line 1 singles was Charlie Powers ‘27, who was also a power player for the Dragons. His tough and strategic play constantly led him and his team to success throughout the season.

With young and convincing talent from Charlie Powers, Zach Powers ‘29 and Nicholas Saucedo ‘28, the team has high hopes for the 2026-27 spring season.
