Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) places fifth in the Tri-Valley league with a record of 1-5 and an overall record of 5-14-2. Although they didn’t make it to California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoffs, the team still finished the season strong with a 3-1 win against Ventura High School (Ventura).

Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls tennis team finished third in the Tri-Valley League. They were led by their captains, Lola Tennison ‘24 and Kira Branson ‘24, in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) when the team received a wild card and got to play.

Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys tennis brought home a California Scholastic Federation (CIF) division four title, placing first in league with a record of 6-0, remaining undefeated. In CIF, they placed second among the 27 top competing teams in Calif. Southern Section.

Charlie Powers '27 approaches the net with a volley. Powers has been a dominant force on the tennis team this year, in his first year of high school tennis he has claimed the number one singles spot.

James Sokoloski '24 rushes crosscourt to hit a backhand. Sokoloski and his doubles partner Aaditya Aluri ‘27 claimed victory in all three of their matches.

Shaurya Shyam '25 intensely focuses as he prepares to serve in his second match of the evening.

Aaditya Atluri '27 hits a backhand slice in the third round of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoff game against Mark Keppel High School (Mark Keppel) that took place on May 6, 2024. With a skilled roster, hard work and determination, Foothill Tech was able to win by a large margin, 13-5.

A decade-themed spirit week was a thrilling lead up to "Roaring '20s" themed prom that took place on May 4, 2024. Students got the opportunity to show off their poodle skirts, bell bottom jeans, Juicy Couture and leather jackets.

The Port of Hueneme imports around 5 billion bananas every year with the largest contributing companies being Del Monte and Chiquita. Each company ships out their bananas and has their own distribution systems set up on the Port. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Del Monte donated 1 million bananas to Ventura County locals in need of food.

As one of two locations, the local shop offers good quality food for on-the-go customers with quick service and welcoming smiles. On the evening of April 28, 2023, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) swim team competed in league finals in a thrilling night resulting in personal records for many of the athletes. The girls junior varsity (JV), boys JV and girls varsity team all took first in league with the boys varsity team placing second in league.
