As of October 2021, Ethnic Studies and Social Justice is set to become a new addition to the A-G college readiness and graduation requirements that bound all California high schools together. Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) along with other high schools in the Ventura Unified School District (VUSD) will begin this implementation starting in the 2025-2026 school year, making it an official graduation requirement for the class of 2030. The Horror In The Stacks event took place at the E.P. Foster Library. The second floor was covered with black paper restricting all light sources and converted into a haunted maze.
