On the morning of March 14, 2026, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) baseball team played against Trinity Classical Academy (Trinity). Foothill Tech played an impressive game and ended up beating Trinity. Cooper Casey ‘27 (number 5) prepares to hit the ball, pitched by one of Trinity’s players. Casey played great both defensively and offensively and helped the Foothill Tech Dragons with their win.

On the night of Thursday, Feb. 26, Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) took on Del Sol in a thrilling game. Throughout all three games, Foothill and Del Sol held a close score till the end, with the Dragons winning the matchup 3-0. These games early in the season are vital to the team’s morale and their overall performance, so this was a great start for Foothill Tech’s momentum.

At Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech), both the cross country and track and field teams delivered record-breaking performances during the 2025 season. This trend, however, extends far beyond Foothill Tech. The phenomenon, known as “trackflation,” has emerged nationwide as advances in shoe technology, training methods and competition push athletes to ever-faster times. With the rise of super shoes, data-driven coaching and a growing pool of elite runners, performances once considered exceptional are becoming increasingly common, reshaping expectations in a sport where placings are determined by milliseconds.
