The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) beach volleyball team had a standout ‘26 season highlighted by impressive performances from both rising new athletes and departing seniors. In the Calif. rankings, the Dragons sat just below Oaks Christian School (Oaks Christian) at 24th within the state and 72nd nationally.
Along with their impressive season standings, they also earned a 16-5 overall season record, underscoring their dominant and effective style of play. They’d end up going 7-1 in league play after taking a loss to Bishop Garcia Diego High School (Bishop Diego) early on into the season.
The postseason gave the Dragons an opportunity to make a deep run and extend their season against stronger competition. They qualified for the 2026 California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Ford Beach Volleyball Championships where they went on to go 2-1 in pool play.
Some notable seniors who helped navigate the team through the rocky parts of the season include Samantha Jacobson ‘26, Emily Turner ‘26 and Rylie Hannah ‘26. As the team looks ahead, they set their sights on the coming season with a focus on improving and building upon their momentum from this year.
