Foothill Technology High School’s (Foothill Tech) 2025-26 spring track and field season highlighted competitive feats in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) postseason, along with broken personal and school-wide records.
The boys 4x800m team, which consisted of Andres Hernandez ‘26, Jaden Prillhart ‘26, Baker Carlisle ‘26 and Asher Field ‘28, earned the title as CIF Southern Section Division Four champion, running a combined time of 8:05.25. Not only did they take gold at CIF Finals, but they also shattered the school record of this event, set in 2017, by eight seconds.
In girls high jump, Bennett Rodman ‘26 took gold and the title of Southern Section Division Four Champion after she jumped a height of 5-02.00. Rodman later broke her own personal and school record in the CIF Masters meet after she jumped a height of 5-04.00.
Keera Wallace ‘26 earned the runner-up spot in both 1600-meter and 3200-meter events as she ran times of 5:07.66 and 11:31.65.
Throughout the season, the Dragons shattered multiple school records made by athletes such as Christian Bondy ‘26, Asher Bayless ‘26, Elijah Spencer ‘26, Amelia Gerk ‘26 and Viggo Bortolin ‘27 in a stellar season.
