On May 18, 2020, Edgenuity worked to resolve a network issue that prevented students from working on their classwork. According to an Edgenuity status page, on May 18, 2020, the system was down at 7:57 a.m MST and services were restored at 5:52 p.m MST.

According to the Edgenuity twitter page, the online platform “experienced a power outage” and they are working, “diligently to get back online.”

On May 18, 2020 at 6:41 p.m., a tweet was sent out by the Edgenuity team notifying that the system had been fully restored and that they “recognize that the timing of this outage is particularly difficult for students and teachers working to finish the school year, and we are deeply sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
