On Dec. 16, 2024, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls basketball team competed in a league match against St. Bonaventure High School, (Bonnie) and lost 47-76. Kiara Zavala ‘26 (number 5) runs the ball up the court starting an offensive play with hopes of catching up to St. Bonnie.

On Dec. 13 and 14, 2024, the Ventura Harbor hosted its annual Parade of Lights, with this year's theme being Candy Land. This event has free admission with some paid activities. They had kids rides, carnival games and some food vendors on the Harbor Village lawn. Along the main walkway, they had faux snow, a bubble guy and LED performers dressed up in light up costumes.

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys cross country runners do strides out from the line to warm up for the race ahead, with emotions high they enjoy the scenic views Woodward Park has to offer. Chance Leandro '25 leads the pack out with the pressure of the environment weighing heavy on moral.
CIF Cross Country: A season in review
At the winter holidays approach, Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) held its annual candy cane drive. Candy canes, the perfect holiday treat, were dispersed in decorated jars in every science classroom, from Mrs. Anderson to Mr. Weldele. Students in these classes were encouraged to donate a dollar and receive one of these treats in return, a donation that goes to the National Marrow Donor Program, formerly known as Be The Match.

Head custodian, Todd Walker, a Hidden Hero at Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech), goes above and beyond to keep our campus clean and safe for students and his staff. His dedication and hard work is often taken for granted, but is deeply appreciated by all.
