Due to CIF labor pay disputes, soccer referees of all high school games, including Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech), decided to go on strike. Members of Ventura County have stepped up to help the local soccer community, saving their 2023 to 2024 high school season.

A beginner's guide to escape rooms
As of October 2021, Ethnic Studies and Social Justice is set to become a new addition to the A-G college readiness and graduation requirements that bound all California high schools together. Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) along with other high schools in the Ventura Unified School District (VUSD) will begin this implementation starting in the 2025-2026 school year, making it an official graduation requirement for the class of 2030. VUSD leads the way for new Ethnic Studies and Social Justice graduation requirement
Birds are a common sight around the world, with 11,118 species of birds existing around the world. Around our town of Ventura, we have a variety of species of which nine are brought up in this article. The nine bird species that are covered are the Cooper’s Hawk, Brewer’s Blackbird, Black Pheobe, Brown Pelican, Dark-eyed Junco, Eurasian Collared-Dove, House Sparrow, Turkey Vulture and the Sanderling. Jane Kim and Layla Solomon decide to research and show off these nine birds, sharing facts about each of them in turn with individual drawings to display the birds.
