As the 2024 spring sports season came to a close, specific teams from Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) qualified to compete in California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) postseason play. Baseball, boys tennis, and swim and dive teams were some of these select few that progressed into the first rounds of CIF. Although baseball lost in the first round, ending their season, Foothill Tech brought one swimmer onto CIF finals where she competed in two individual events. Foothill Tech’s boys tennis team also moved on, receiving a Bye in the first round of CIF and progressing through the second round. On the cloudy afternoon of May 3, 2024, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys tennis team laid the groundwork for their round two California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) match. With well-prepared players and a strong team morale, Foothill Tech closed out the day with a victory in their favor.

Boys' tennis defeats Downey to move on to round three of CIF

On May 1, 2024, a handful of swimmers from the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) swim team headed to Mt. San Antonio College after qualifying for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division 3 prelims. The girls 400-yard freestyle relay team, composed of Cynthia Hu 26, Camilla Lewis 25, Rihanna Samples 25, and Mikaela Clabaugh 25, placed 22nd overall with a time of 3:59.13, shaving off milliseconds from their previous best time.

With the season at stake for Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech), Aidan Gomez 25 puts pressure on his opponent leading up to the final innings of the game. Resulting in multiple stolen bases and home for Gomez, he helped his team and kept the dragons in the game.
