Fidelity Ballmer is a Foothill senior, a third-year journalist and the Editor-In-Chief of the Foothill Dragon Press. Fidelity is also the Co-President of the Speech and Debate team and a Teen Advisor for Girl Up, a campaign of the United Nations Foundation. Fidelity hopes on attending a college that will help her earn a degree in liberal arts and achieve her dream of becoming a journalist. Over the past summer, Fidelity attended two journalism camps and a Girl Up conference in Washington, D.C. But when Fidelity isn’t drowning in her responsibilities, and helping keeps clubs afloat, she loves to spend her time reading books and other high school newspapers. Although it was hard to admit, Fidelity has a guilty pleasure for pop and “angst” music, but her favorite overall is alternative and “weird indie stuff” that she steals from her brother. Fidelity has very high hopes for this years biggest staff yet. She is excited to announce there is going to be new guest columnists, and an “amazing” Political Cartoons section on the Foothill Dragon Press this year.
