Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls softball placed fifth in the Tri-Valley league with a record of 0-8 and an overall record of 4-14. Team captains Lauren Fossati ‘25 and Tiffany Martinez ‘24, led the team through the season.

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls softball team saw a step down from their 2023 spring season as they managed a 4-13 regular season record with a 0-8 league record.

However, individuals shined as Lauren Fossati ‘25 played a crucial role in the teams’ success as she led with a .545 batting average, .583 on-base percentage and 18 hits. Tiffany Martinez ‘24 also recorded a .400 batting average and led the team with 9 runs scored.

Foothill Tech’s seniors Martinez, Angie Lemus ‘24 and Bella Rodriguez ‘24 were all recognized during the team’s annual senior night for their commitment to the team.

In the upcoming spring season, the Dragons look to improve their record and qualify for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoffs.
