Even though December is coming to a close, winter continues until March. These cute and easy decorations are great ways to keep your house in season. They can also be adorable gifts and make for a fun activity. Here are the directions to make each terrific decoration shown in the video above:

1) Tree Jars

Materials:

  • Mason Jar
  • Fake Trees
  • Fake Snow
  • Fake Reindeer
  • Hot Glue

Step One: Put a small dot of hot glue on the bottom of your first tree and then stick it onto the bottom of your mason jar.

Step Two: Repeat step one with your second tree

Step Three: Put small dots of hot glue on all four legs of your reindeer and stick in onto the bottom of the jar in front of the trees.

Step Four: Pour about half an inch of fake snow into the bottom of the jar and shake it a little so it is evenly dispersed.

Step Five: Screw on the lid and enjoy!

2) Reindeer Pots

Materials:

  • Small Pot
  • Googly Eyes
  • Red Pouf
  • Brown Pipe Cleaners
  • Black Paint and Small Brush (optional)
  • Hot Glue

Step One: Put small dots of hot glue on both of the googly eyes and stick them onto your upside down pot.

Step Two: Put a dot of hot glue on the nose and stick it underneath the eyes.

Step Three: Bend the pipe cleaners into an antler-like shape and stick them into the hole at the top of the pot.

Step Four (optional): Take your black paint and add dots underneath the eyes to make freckles!

3) Snowman Door

Materials:

  • Black Paper
  • Orange Paper
  • Colorful or Patterned Paper
  • A Cup
  • Scissors
  • Tape

Step One: Cut out 11 black circles about the size of the top of a glass.

Step Two: Cut out a large carrot-shaped triangle for the nose.

Step Three: Cut a 4-inch thick stip that fits across your door.

Step Four: Cut out two shorter 4-inch strips to make the ends of the scarf.

Step Five: Tape the pieces to your door to make your snowman! (See photo)
