Foothill boys’ basketball lost to Cate School by seven points. The final score of the game was 52-59 in overtime.

Coach Dean Prophet felt the team played well the entire game, and did nicely in tying up the game resulting in overtime.

“[We] kept coming back the entire game [and] managed to tie up the game at the end of the 4th quarter,” said Prophet.

He believed that the reason the opposing team won was because of missed potential shots.

“[We] could not get shots to drop for us in the overtime period,” said Prophet.

The leading scorers of the game were senior Nick Vaughan with 17 points, sophomore Dale Starr with 12 points and ten rebounds, and senior Michael Booth with six points.
