[dropcap size=dropcap]S[/dropcap]tudents danced and laughed at last night’s Footloose-themed Winter Formal, held at CSU Channel Islands.
Music ranged from popular “Anaconda” by Nicki Minaj to “Footloose” from the movie’s soundtrack. In between dances, students got refreshments at the dessert bar.
Halfway through the night, the Winter Formal “royal court” were announced. Freshman Prince and Princess were Chad Talaugon and Sophia Drake. George Mikhailovsky and Yume Dorsey were voted sophomore Prince and Princess. The junior class court was Ameet Rahane and Nina Urban.
King and Queen of the dance were Raul Martinez and Desiree Hernandez. They led a slow dance to the song “All of Me” by John Legend.
