The Foothill girls’ volleyball team suffered another 3-0 loss against Cate High School at today’s away game.
There was a difference in the team tonight, two of the varsity players finished their CIF mandated 30-day period sit out allowing them to play with their team for the first time.
“We finally had the services of Grenier and Elliott after their CIF mandatory sit out period expired,” Coach Chip Tarleton said.
The team lost their last game with the same results, and Tarleton still feels there is room for improvement.
“Everything we have control over […] our serving and hitting [needs to be improved on],” Tarleton said.
With the today’s loss, Tarleton feels the team still has to learn what is important to perform well at a game.
“We are still young and learning every day what’s necessary to compete.”
