Claire Stockdill is a sophomore at Foothill Technology High School and is a member of the Features staff for the Foothill Dragon Press. Between homework, volunteering at the Thousand Oaks Library, and playing tennis, she finds the time to enjoy her favorite activities, which include drawing, reading, playing the piano, and recreating various scenes that occur throughout the day with simple drawings of creatures that vaguely resemble penguins. She enjoys drawing with colored pencils, even though her black, gray, and blue colored pencils always seem to be mysteriously missing, no matter how many times she finds them. She loves writing, and pens in general. This is her first year on the Foothill Dragon Press, and she looks forward to a fun and challenging year. Through this experience, she hopes to learn skills that will help her in the future.
