Finals week has been absolute chaos. I’ve had to complete multiple projects and take two huge exams. I really had no idea that finals week could be so hectic. Today I have decided to document my travels, disappointments, and wins throughout this abyss.
Tuesday: To my surprise, people attend parties all throughout finals. I can’t help but feel sorry for the people in my dorm that actually wanted to study. They would have more silence on a battlefield that in this party-infested dormitory.
Thursday: I’m getting jealous of the people already done with their finals. My last final is on Friday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Emphasis on the p.m.
Friday: It is now 9:30 p.m., and I am done! Oh my God this feels amazing! I’m pretty sure I aced my physics final. Math, however, is a different story. I’m not sure whether I completely failed or got an A+. That can never be a good thing.
Saturday: So it turns out that my hunch about my math final was right. I probably shouldn’t have partied through finals week. While I definitely regret not studying enough, I’m just happy it’s over. Now I can bask in an entire month of relaxation, and do absolutely nothing. My winter vacation goes from December 9 to January 9. Now that I am at home, I am at peace.
The moral of the story here is, remember that your finals are important for your future. You can hang out with friends or play video games any time you want. But if you screw up one grade, it could cost you your educational career. It is NOT a good trade off. Remember to focus.
On another note, since I am now on winter vacation for a month, you may catch me visiting Foothill Technology High School next week.
