The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls softball team finished fifth in league with a record of 1-7. For their overall season they held an 8-9 record.
One of the leading offensive batters was Jocelyn Morales ‘28 who boasted an impressive .522 batting average with 23 runs scored. Following close behind were Alinah Rodriguez ‘27 and Kyra Bouchard ‘27 who maintained averages of .500 and .467, respectively.
Jaelyn Perez ‘25 led the team for pitching with an earned run average (ERA) of 6.16 runs.
The team was unable to make it to the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) postseason this year, but with young talent growing into their roles, their chances to improve their record and bid for CIF hold strong.
