My name is Celeste Lopez I am part of the class of 2012 and have lived here in Ventura, California for the last 8 years of my life. I am in the journalism class of 2010-2011 because I aspire to one day become a foreign correspondent. I am uncontrollably curious about everything around me which is why I feel getting the facts and speaking the truth as a journalist would suit me perfectly. Other things (besides asking questions) that keep me occupied are going to the beach, hiking, learning, dancing, singing horrendously at the top of my lungs, and of course creating endless amounts of memories with my friends. I would not classify myself as an introvert but the times I spend alone on my walks home, or my late nights awake, or even my occasional window watching are some of the most dear to me; for the most part my mind is all the entertainment I need.

After my infamous high school years are over and done with I hope to attend Soka University and pursue a major in English along with a major in either Communications or Psychology (my biggest dilemma at the moment). Though I have many goals for my future as of right now I am just an ordinary 16 year old girl trying to juggle school, friends, family, and my curious mind.
