Julia Fickenscher is a sophomore and a first-year Arts and Entertainment journalist. When Julia is not swamped with four Honors classes and her responsibilities as the Sophomore Class President, she enjoys dancing, baking, and writing on her blog. She is still undecided which college she wants to go to, but is eager to attend school and further her performing career. Because of Julia’s love for anything Disney, her dream would be to perform in the Christmas parades at Disneyland. Julia’s favorite Disney princess is Rapunzel and her favorite rides at Disneyland are Indiana Jones Adventure and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Julia’s obsession with pink, sparkles and anything girly may disguise her various other interests. Her love of roller coasters started when she saw her older brothers riding them, but she soon learned for herself that she adored the thrill and sensation of feeling like “you’re flying out of your seat.” If Julia could go anywhere in the world, she would go to Paris, where she could experience the language, the Eiffel Tower, the ballet and most importantly, the food.
