Following a challenging previous season, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls water polo team made a significant leap in performance, where they finished with a 5-6 overall record and a dominant 4-1 Tri-Valley League record.
With a second place finish in league play, the Dragons earned themselves a spot in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Division Five playoffs. The first round saw Foothill Tech face off against Hemet High School as the away team in the competition. Unfortunately for the Dragons, their run was concluded with a tough 9-5 defeat.
Despite falling short early in their postseason, Foothill Tech showed what it meant to make improvements. The Dragons look to put their athleticism and grit on display in future seasons.
