The 2024 to 2025 season went well for the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls golf team, with a total of 5 players making it to the Tri-Valley League Individual Finals, which took place at the Olivas Links Golf course and Santa Barbara Golf Club. Ultimately, only Audrey Yoong ’26 ended up advancing to the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section postseason, however the entire team showed dedication throughout the season.

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls’ golf team performed relatively well in the 2025 season. The girls ended their season with a strong league record of 3-1 and their full season with an almost even 7-8.

Leading athletes on the team include Audrey Yoong ‘26 who finished second in league and Bella Baum ‘26 who finished fourth. Yoong made it to the first round of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) postseason which is where her season unfortunately came to a close.

Both Baum and Yoong made first-team all-league for their success in the season. 

The Foothill Tech girls’ team now sets their sights on the next season, aiming to maintain their league dominance and dig their feet in for a deeper run in the CIF postseason.

On Oct. 15 and 17, 2024, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls golf team sent five players to the two-day Tri-Valley League Individual Finals. The first day took place at Olivas Links Golf course. Audrey Yoong '26 was the low score from the Dragons with a 39 on day one, just four strokes shy of the lead. Yoong’s score put her in second place going into the second day. Bella Baum '26 was the second lowest score from the team with a 44, placing third leading into the second day. Day two took place at Santa Barbara Golf Club, where Yoong fired off a 41, totalling her score to 80, securing her second place finish, making First Team All League and qualifying for California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). Baum shot a 54, finishing tied for fourth and making First Team All League. The top three players in the league will advance to CIF Southern Section at Los Robles Greens on Oct. 30, 2024.

After school on Sept. 4, 2024 Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls golf team played their match against Santa Paula High School (Santa Paula) at Olivas Links Golf Course. The team played through a few good rounds in the chilly, windy afternoon, but ended up accepting the defeat in the end. Pictured is Cora Sydlaske ‘27 right after she took a shot at the ball, Sydlaske ended up shooting a 69 throughout the whole course contributing to Foothill Tech's 287 against Santa Paula’s 281.

Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls golf team had a very successful 2023 season. The girls went undefeated in league, became Tri-Valley League Champions and had two players, Audrey Yoong ‘26 and Piper Singleton ‘24, make first-team all-league.

At the Olivas Links Golf Course, on Sept. 21, 2023, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls golf team faced off in a league match against Bishop Diego. The Dragons played well and won the match with an overall score of 249-303. On the afternoon of Sept. 14, 2023, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls' golf faced off against La Reina at the Olivas Links Golf Course. Maddie Wicks ‘26 tees it up with hopes of sticking it close to pin and hopefully having a birdie opportunity. Wicks finished hole six with a double bogey and finished the entire course with a 56.

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys volleyball team did well throughout the year, with the varsity team's overall record being 17-10 for the 2024-2025 season. The Dragons won numerous league games as well as tournaments, which ended up qualifying the team for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoffs. The boy's volleyball team also ended up 3rd in the Tri-Valley Volleyball league, being beaten only by Bishop Garcia Diego High School (Bishop Diego) and Laguna Blanca School (Laguna Blanca). Overall, Foothill Tech had a fantastic season for boys volleyball, thanks the to entire team's continuous effort throughout the year.

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys' golf team performed well throughout the 2024 to 2025 school year, with a record of 6 players qualifying for league finals and the opportunity to take a spot in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) rounds. The overall outcome of the boys' 2024 to 2025 golfing season highlighted the teams' dedication to the sport, leaving the remaining players to carry on the legacy of success for future years.

The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) softball team finished their 2024 to 2025 season with a Tri-Valley League record of 1-7, placing them at 5th. Their overall record ended up being 8-9. Despite hardships throughout the Dragons were able to end their season on a high note, beating Nordhoff High School (Nordhoff) handily, with a final score of 7-0, highlighting Foothill Tech's commitment and dedication to the sport. *note this is from last season*
Softball
The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) baseball team did well throughout the full length of the 2024 to 2025 season, going 15-14, and ultimately placing 2nd in the Tri-Valley League, being beaten only by Saint Bonaventure High School (St. Bonnie). The Dragons also advanced to the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoffs in their season, displaying the teams talent and dedication to the sport.
Baseball
The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls' volleyball team ended the 2024 to 2025 season with a 0-8 league standing, placing them at 5th in the Tri-Valley League. Overall, the Dragons ended up 3-10, but despite this record, the team displayed continual improvement and effort throughout the season.

Foothill Technology High School's (Foothill Tech) girls basketball team performed well throughout the year, ending up 2nd place a record of 6-2. In the overall season, the girls went 12-12. Ultimately, the Dragons made their way to the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Playoffs, however this journey was cut short by a loss in Round 2, eliminating the team from further postseason games.

Throughout the 2024 to 2025 school year, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls' water polo team performed well, earning 2nd place in the Tri-Valley league with a record of 4-1. Their overall standings were 5-6, placing them at 228 in Calif. overall, highlighting the Dragons' teamwork and commitment throughout the school year. In addition to their Calif. ranking, the girls' water polo team made it to the California Scholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Champions for Division 5, however, they were unfortunately beaten by Hemet High School (Hemet) 9-5, putting an end to the Dragons season.

Despite their overall record of 4-12, the Dragons displayed hard work and resilience throughout the season, increasing their state ranking from the previous season by 66 places.

While their overall record was 7-8, the Dragons played well throughout the year, showing immense talent and dedication, with standout players such as Kaizer Castillo '28 and Stefan Hubner ‘25, who is pictured above.

Foothill Technology High School's (Foothill Tech) beach volleyball team dominated the 2024 to 2025 season, with an overall record of 12-2. This impressive season resulted in Foothill Tech's ranking in Calif. being set at 102, highlighting the teams talent and dedication to the sport of volleyball.

The girls' soccer team at Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) played hard during the 2024 to 2025 season, resulting in a 5th-place ranking in the Tri-Valley League. Their overall season record ended up being 5-9-2, with their league record of 3-5-2. Unfortunately, the Dragons ended the year with a loss to Saint Bonaventure High School (St. Bonnie), losing only by 1 point.
