Chandler Vu is a Foothill junior and a proud member of the graduating class of 2013. He is a first-year guest columnist for The Foothill Dragon Press. During his free time he enjoys going thrift store shopping, wakeboarding and watching romantic comedies. Being the hardcore communist that he is, Chandler’s favorite novel is the Communist Manifesto and his favorite author is Harry Turtledove. His role models consist of: Karl Marx, Barack Obama, Trotsky, and FDR. As for his educational career, he aspires to major in political science or medical technology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Afterwards, he intends on becoming a prominent member of either the U.S. Senate or the House of Representatives. He hopes that he can one day go on to help the less fortunate people of America.
