Martin Hanson belongs to the class of 2014, and is starting his first year in journalism. He enjoys heavy metal, reading books, and cupcakes. Martin feels he will be overwhelmed by the amount of work he has to do this year, but in the end he will prevail, probably. He is starting, along with journalism, his first play at PTYA, which he is very excited about. He will (hopefully) be in the play Pride and Prejudice. This year Martin will get at least all B’s, if not A’s, but he doesn’t want to set his expectations too high. So far that plan hasn’t gone too well, but he is working on it. Martin is also looking forward to another year on the Speech and Debate team, though, for him, it is really just Speech team, He doesn’t participate in the debate side, despite many people trying to convince him to broaden his horizon.
