The tunes of “Monster Mash” and “This is Halloween” drifted out of students’ Halloween-themed cars, and freshmen were able to walk around collecting sweet treats during Foothill’s first Trunk or Treat yesterday at lunch.
The event was a spin off from traditional “trick or treating.” Juniors and seniors were given the opportunity to decorate their cars and pass out candy to the freshmen. The event was open to the rest of the school after the freshmen had their fill.
“It’s so fun,” Audrey Feist ‘20 commented. “I love it! I love candy! I love all things Halloween, spooky. It’s great.”
Whitney Ellis ‘17 enjoyed getting to interact with freshman.
“I don’t really know any freshman, so I can get to know them and talk to some of the freshman. It’s cute and spooky,” Ellis said.
