[dropcap size=dropcap]M[/dropcap]egan Kearney is a senior, and a third-year reporter and second-year co-editor for the Dragon Presses’ News section. This is her fourth year running for the Ventura High School varsity cross-country and track teams and this year is serving as co-captain. She competes on the CIF and State team for cross-country. She is active in National Charity League, where she volunteers at Douglas Penfield School, working with autistic students. When Megan is not frantically editing articles, or running mile after mile around town, you can typically find her laughing with her friends, studying at star bucks, or attempting to get rid of her awful running tan lines.
