Maddie Kirkegaard is a sophomore at Foothill. This is her first year on the staff of the Dragon Press and she is extremely excited to be a part of it. She will be writing for the Features section where she hopes to learn a lot from her fellow classmates on the Dragon Press. Outside of school and homework, she loves going to ballet class six days a week. She has been dancing since the age of four and has spent her past four summers attending ballet intensives in Philadelphia, Boston, and Miami. Her hectic schedule of four honors classes and ballet leaves her with very little extra time. However, in the free time she does somehow manage to find, she enjoys traveling to new places and spending time with her family and friends. Maddie is looking forward to this year and hopes it will be full of exciting new experiences and challenges.
