In 2003, Foothill implemented the Senior Hero Project to encourage all of the graduating 12th graders to reach out into the community and assist those in need.
Since its founding, the project has grown, and now over 200 seniors of the class of 2012 are participating in it. Every senior contributes 35 volunteer hours during their final year at Foothill and presents the project to the community in May.
If you are a Foothill senior with an interesting Hero Project you wish to share, send a brief description of your project to [email protected], and The Foothill Dragon Press will consider writing an article about it.
