Branden Padilla is a Foothill sophomore and first-year Features writer for the Foothill Dragon Press. He loves being a student at Foothill and jumped up and down in celebration when he received his acceptance letter. He is passionate about equality and describes himself as peppy and confident, but enjoys having space to himself as well. Along with his self-assurance, he fully believes in his own ability to make decisions and says that, “There is not a man alive that can tell [him] what to do.” Besides being passionate about equality, Branden loves books and grabs any opportunity he can to read, unless he’s assigned to do so for a class. His favorite book is “Bad Girls Don’t Die” by Katie Alexander. For college, Branden hopes to go to New York University and major in psychology with a minor in journalism.
His favorite class is journalism.
