Meghan Schuyler is a senior and second-year journalist, as well as editor of the Arts & Entertainment section. Her passion for writing and curiosity of journalism drove her to apply for the Foothill Dragon Press during her sophomore year. Her extracurricular activities include holding the position of Secretary in Girl Up, a campus club she is the co-founder of, and training a fellow student on Foothill’s cross country team. Meghan enjoys writing poetry during her spare time and has published four of her own pieces. When she’s not busy editing articles and reviewing albums, Meghan spends her time hunting for books at Barnes & Noble and singing the alphabet backwards. Since the time to apply to universities is nearing, she has been busy sorting through college mail and finding prospective colleges such as Oberlin College. She plans on majoring in literary arts and minoring in journalism. Her careers of interest include being an editor for novelists, pursuing a journalism career or teaching English, although she is not entirely sure of which yet.
