Christian Erickson is a sophomore and first-year videographer for the Foothill Dragon Press. Erickson applied to Foothill for its academic reputation among Ventura’s other public schools. He has a plethora of interests, including Foothill Cross Country, singing and playing musical instruments. Erickson became interested in cross country because of his dad. However, before he ran, he swam. Christian always enjoyed running so eventually he made the switch from an aquatic to a land sport. At the age of nine, his dad gave him and his brother guitars. He was then enrolled in guitar lessons and has stuck with the instrument ever since. On top of Christian’s ability to play guitar, he also plays the trumpet. He applied for the Multimedia section because he enjoys video editing and considers himself good at it. Erickson wants to be a psychiatrist. He has always been interested in the human mind and being part of the therapeutic process.
