The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys’ tennis team came into the 2024-2025 season with a vengeance after taking runner up in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoffs the year before. The Dragons ended their season with a 6-2 overall record and unfortunately lost the league title to Cate School (Cate) 6-12.
The Dragons made another run into the CIF playoffs but unfortunately were not able to improve on their runner up placement that they earned in the 2023-2024 season. Foothill Tech did have many key triumphs this season including an early season win over their cross-town rival where the Dragons won 15-3.
Foothill Tech was senior heavy this year with many seniors offering leadership, advice and support to their younger teammates. Foothill Tech looks to the off season to rebuild and prepare for the 2025-2026 season to possibly replicate the success they have had over the last couple of years.
