Doubles partners Dylan Files '26 and Gregory Davis '26 cheer each other on as they prepare for the next set. Although they lost this match, they continued to communicate on the court between points and persisted through.

With the season coming to a close, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys tennis team battled against league opponents in hopes of finishing top in league and continuing their journey to California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). With multiple games over the span of five days, the Dragons emerged fought tooth and nail, finishing 1-1 against their opponents.

Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys tennis brought home a California Scholastic Federation (CIF) division four title, placing first in league with a record of 6-0, remaining undefeated. In CIF, they placed second among the 27 top competing teams in Calif. Southern Section.

On the night of April 17, 2025, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys volleyball team hosted one of the their last home games against Laguna Blanca School (Laguna) to close out their regular season play. In honor of their seniors, they held a ceremony at the beginning of the night. Each senior, Tyler Nelsen '25 (number 8), Elijah Haigh '25 (number 15), Trent Kirby '25 (number 9), Jack Marshall '25 (number 5) and Jayden Wallace '25 (number 7), were given the opportunity to take a photo with family members and the Dragon mascot to celebrate their time playing for Foothill Tech. They ended the intense match with a 3-2 win and made it into post-season play or the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoffs.

Two presentations were held in the courtyard of the adobe during the festival. Each demonstration featured information about local owl species, such as diet, anatomy, habitat and ways to protect them. At 11:30 a.m., the Ojai Raptor Center presented with real owl specimen. At 1:00 p.m., Ventura Katie Adams handled a live Eurasian eagle owl named Periwinkle.

In the past few weeks, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys golf team has taken on various opponents in league matches. On April 3, 2025, the Dragons matched up against Villanova High School (Villinova) and secured a 209-241 victory, but on April 8, 2025, they fell short to Bisho Diego High School (Bishop Diego), 227-202.
Boys golf battles through two league matches
In the evening of April 10, 2025, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) Dragons traveled to Carpinteria, Calif. to face off against the Cate School (Cate) Rams. After losing 1-3 the last time these two teams matched up, the Dragons were determined to win. After three intense sets, Foothill Tech swept Cate and emerged victorious, 3-0.

On April. 15, 2025, Foothill Technology (Foothill Tech) boys volleyball faced off against Providence School. This was a very rapid match, as Foothill Tech secured all three sets in one swoop. Following a narrow loss to Ventura High School, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys volleyball team was fired up and ready to face Dunn School (Dunn) on April 1, 2025. Through their teamwork and strong offense, they emerged victorious, 3-0. As his teammates watch from the bench, Elijah Haigh '25 (number 15) gets ready to serve the ball to the other side, to hopefully get yet another ace. Haigh's powerful swing came in handy not just for his serves, but also for his hitting, as he got many kills from the opposite hitting position.

On the evening of March 21, 2025, Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys volleyball took on the Ventura High School (Ventura) volleyball team at Cabrillo Middle School. Despite a rocky start, ending in a Foothill Tech loss for the first set, the team came back strong, winning the second and third set. Despite this comeback, the Foothill Tech boys' team ultimately fell short, losing in the last two sets to Ventura. Foothill Tech performed well, displaying powerful hitting, skilled defensive plays and several well timed blocks. Seen above is one of Foothill Tech's many skilled hitters, Styles Haley-Kettler ’28, hitting a ball on Ventura's side of the court.
Foothill Tech falls short in five-set thriller against Ventura
On the afternoon of March 20, 2025, the Ventura Aquatic Center became home to the Ventura County Swimming Championships. The event started on March 18, 2025, with the girls qualifiers, followed by the boys qualifiers on March 19, 2025. This annual event hosts over ten schools in the county every year, making the competition fierce. Seen above is Kylan Jaeger, holding the edge of his diving block in preparation for his heat to begin. Jaeger, along with many other Foothill Tech swimmers, performed well, earning various accolades throughout the meet.
