Mainly consisting of bananas, milk and graham crackers, this smoothie is high in potassium and rich in calcium. They both work to strengthen bones, and potassium also lowers blood pressure and the risk of strokes. Also, try using low-fat graham crackers for 10 less calories and half the fat.

Serving size: 4

Ingredients:
2 cup sliced banana
2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 cup low-fat milk
3 tablespoons crushed graham crackers
2 tablespoon nonfat dry milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup ice cubes

Preparation 

  1. Slice bananas, then spread them apart on a baking sheet and place in the freezer for an hour.
  2. Blend frozen bananas and remaining ingredients until smooth.
  3. Sprinkle in graham cracker crumbs and serve.
