Rain falls furiously onto the walkway in the middle of Foothill Tech’s campus, and its ambiance is the soundtrack of this episode of FDP-TV.

With spring’s official arrival on March 20, 2023, the recent rain storms have restored the brown hills above Ventura to a lush green hue. On March 21, a blood drive was hosted by HOSA, an organization associated with Foothill Technology High School’s (Foothill Tech) BioScience Academy. Spring sports are in full swing, though many outdoor games have been canceled due to rain. Boys’ tennis has had three of their four matches canceled, with their one match played against Camarillo High School. Boys’ baseball will take on Dunn School in their first league game on March 24, while Girls’ softball is 0-1 in the league after losing to Santa Clara High School. Check out articles featuring hidden gems like Moon’s Thai Cuisine and Hello My Darling Tea Shop, highlighted for being standout restaurants because of their diverse menus and a great spot for students to spend time after class. Public art plays a vital role in uniting the community, notably a piece by Evan Mendel on Sivan Windows and Doors, featured in an award winning article by photographer Rihanna Samples.
