Spencer Kellogg also known as Mr. Kellogg, a well liked teacher at Foothill Technology, brings us into his classroom and gives some insight on who he is, inside and outside the classroom.

Mr. Kellogg has been teaching students in the math department at Foothill Technology High School for the past 21 years. Outside of school he immersed himself in his passion for surfing which he has enjoyed since 1976 later going on to open his own surf shop iShapes, where he designs and creates his own boards.

I am very concerned with the standards of the Foothill Dragon Press in relation to this article.

Three critical mistakes. Firstly, the use of ¨Mr.¨ Courtesy titles are not permitted in AP Style. Secondly, how was his popularity determined? It is an unsubstantiated claim and is a clear editorialization. Further, the use of ¨us¨ is another editorialization. These mistakes call the Foothill Dragon Press´s credibility as a press into question. I hope that these breaches of journalistic integrity can be corrected in the future.
