It’s that time of year again, when people forget the final scores of the Super Bowl and chat about the memorable advertisements. Just in case you missed them because you don’t watch the Super Bowl, your parents have TiVo, or any other reason, here are the five most praise-worthy ads this year.
“Puppy Love”
Who doesn’t love cute puppies and Clydesdales? Budweiser melted our hearts when they combined these two in a cute advertisement showing the friendship of a puppy golden retriever and one of those stunningly majestic horses, all playing along to Passenger’s “Let Her Go.”
Year after year, Budweiser presents these sentimental advertisements and this is one of the best ones yet.

The commercial with the budwiser horse and little puppy was probably one of my favorites #adorable

“Make Love, Not War”
Axe sells some good products, and usually their advertisements contain a guy who looks like the average Joe and a ridiculously attractive woman in very racy clothing. This Super Bowl advertisement took a completely different aspect of Axe.
This commercial showed men who had the potential to make war but instead chose love. An effective tool used in this advertisement wass the the hints to major world conflicts today combined with their preaching of love, all neatly wrapped up with excellent cinematography.

“Strike”
Most ads we see are a quick, 30 second blip of a product, but every once in a while there is that long advertisement that really makes the viewer pay attention. Maserati’s advertisement in the Super Bowl is one and a half minutes of art.
This commercial has stunning imagery of Earth at the beginning, then slowly begins to show the power of man as a little girl recites lines talking about humans beating the elements and the underdogs beating giants. She speaks in a very poetic fashion that combines perfectly with the scenes of hard work and skill.
It is a commercial that connects with everyone because it talks about humans working hard and using intelligence to beat the odds to survive and prosper, and it sends this message in a very artistic way through the imagery and spoken word poetry.
The ending of this commercial is a Maserati Ghibli speeding down roads and roaring its engine, and all in all, it is a very entertaining commercial.

“It’s Beautiful”
The commercials we have seen in previous Super Bowls have all mostly been very “American.” Think countryside, cowboys, military, big trucks, horses and beer. Coca-Cola’s advertisement this year is a game changer.
It features America The Beautiful being sung in multiple different languages in beautiful harmony as they show different scenes of places in the U.S. and the variety of people that make up the country.
This ad by a classic American company accepts and brings together all the faces of America, and it is also stirring up a lot of controversy. Regardless of the dispute over this commercial, it was definitely one beautiful piece.

That coke commercial pissed me off, this is America. Speak English or leave.

Coke goes full-on multi-culti with yarmulkes and hijab in their Super Bowl commercial – good for them!

Just like the Axe commercial, there is also a longer version of this ad.
“Trust Your Power”
“Trust Your Power” was, by far, the best commercial of the night. The storyline is great, the visuals are great and the message behind this commercial is great.
This ad highlights the football career of Seattle’s running back, Derrick Coleman, and his struggles as a deaf football player. It’s an inspiring commercial that lets us know that no matter what your setbacks are, you can achieve what others deem impossible.

Derrick Coleman and Duracell also teamed up to give two hearing impaired twins a treat of a lifetime with tickets to the Super Bowl.
This is a particularly special ad, because this is what sports should be all about: overcoming the odds, helping others, and inspiring others to do the same.
Could watch that #duracell ad all day long!

Masterpieces of marketing and wonderful entertainment at the same time, these five advertisements are the ones we that will remember far longer than the others.
