The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys golf team ended their season with a tied 3-3 record in league and an overall season record of 3-6.
Although not having the best record, the boys team boasted upcoming players who made an impact in their game this season. Ben Markov ’27 performed highly this season, pushing himself to make second team all-league. Markov shot a 39, 3 over par, which was noted as his best performance on the course this season.
Coming up behind Markov was Sebastian Huovinen ’27 who qualified as honorable mention all-league this season. Huovinen shot a 40, 4 over par, exemplifying his capabilities and potential for next season.
Despite its losses this year, the boys golf team is a young team and has many rising players to uphold and grow the program for the upcoming seasons.
