In mid-March, Makenna Koffee Company opened their latest store on 4960 Telephone Rd. Open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., this rare jewel of a cafe offers many unique and delicious drinks. Their unique Maui Milk, a creamy and incredibly sweet milk that is added to most drinks sets Makenna apart from many other coffee companies.
In mid-March of 2025, a beachy, Hawaiian-esque cafe made its grand entrance on 4960 Telephone Rd. Makenna Koffee Company’s beautifully-decorated shops can be found in Valencia, Simi Valley as well as Ventura, Calif., and food and drinks are occasionally sold via truck. With a wide selection of drinks and baked goods, Makenna is a great option for those seeking nutty, sweet and all-around tasty drinks to start off their day.
Makenna Koffee Company has proved to be the most unique coffee shop I have visited by far. While it is a bit pricey, the experience of unique flavors and textures of coffee and tea were well worth it. With a large, detailed menu and friendly staff, Makenna is a great place for anyone to visit, whether that be to study, work or hang out with friends or family.
