Juggling nine brothers and sisters, color guard practice, and her big plans for the future, Foothill sophomore Aniah Mckenzie is one busy student. This year, she is going to be making history with the Foothill Dragon Press as a part of their first Sports section. Aniah was originally interested in journalism because of her goal to become a fashion editor, but her rivaling love for sports took control. Her past experiences with sports include six years of track and two years of basketball. Athletics aren’t her only interests, however. She hopes to join the Marine Corps and be able to gain criminal detective skills on the military base. Aniah also has dreams of travelling the world, especially to Italy, Japan, and South Korea. She is looking forward to tackling her busy schedule with hard work and enthusiasm.
