On Feb. 8, 2024, the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls’ basketball team took to the court in the first round of California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section. The Dragons won against Crossroads High School (Crossroads) with a score of 36-32. Good defense was displayed by Olivia Mowad ‘24 (number 32), Petra Falcocchia ‘24 (number 23), Lauren Kaller ‘25 (number 0) and Kiara Zavala ‘26 (number 5). Although the score was tight, the team handled the pressure well and will now move onto the next round of CIF.
