On Feb. 9, 2024, the Associated Student Body (ASB) began the voting process of leadership elections for the upcoming school year. Although the actual voting is only one day, candidates spent the past week campaigning and convincing students to vote for them. Hailey Hall '25 and Max Fielder '25 both are running for senior class president.

Amidst the pre-finals week tension lingering in the Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) halls, therapy dogs from "Love on a Leash" were brought on campus on Jan. 19, 2024 to uplift students' spirits and provide comfort as they begin to navigate their way into the upcoming week of final exams. Therapy animals offer stress relief, improve moods and provide comfort to enhance emotional well-being in diverse settings.

The Christmas tree and lights are placed in the center of Main St. in Downtown Ventura. There are signs along this road informing pedestrians where to buy greeting cards and souvenirs to learn more about Ventura, Calif. Throughout the month of December, Bioscience Academy (Bioscience) held their annual Be the Match fundraiser to help save the lives of those with cancer. Colorful posters along with donation jars were located in each of the science teachers’ classrooms. For $1, students could buy a candy cane to enjoy during class and support a life saving cause.
