I think having security cameras in use in viewing our perimeter during school hours would be beneficial – for the safety and well-being of our students as people come onto and leave campus. I think having cameras in use during non-student hours both on the perimeter and on campus would be beneficial for campus security in terms of deterring strangers from jumping the fence or attempting to break in to steal equipment and materials on weekends and in the evenings. I don’t think we need cameras in use on campus while students are in session or at break.
