The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls basketball team took on the winter sports season by storm, with a record of 6-2 in league and a progression into California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).
The seniors Rihanna Samples ‘25, Vivian Ryan ‘25 and Lauren Kaller ‘25 led the team with their perseverance and allowed the team to garner many wins, especially on their Senior Night where they beat Cate School 58-37.
Due to the team’s outstanding performance during the season and standing as second in League, the team qualified for CIF play. In the first round, the Dragons went on to compete against Pacifica Christian High School, where they won 48-31. Subsequently, the team faced off against Tesoro High School on Feb. 15, where they took an unfortunate loss of 38-60. Despite this, the team continued to show exemplary sportsmanship and dominated the 2024-25 season.
