The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) girls volleyball team brought their season to a close with an overall record of 3-10, ending fifth in the Tri-Valley League. Despite their losses, the Dragons competed wholeheartedly even in the small moments, gaining a 3-0 sweep against Carpinteria High School on their annual senior night.
Throughout the season, the senior Dragons brought their team to victory and held the group together after hard losses. Aliana Hantgin ‘25 and Morgan Houston ‘25, two of the team’s starters with Hantgin as libero and Houston as setter, complemented the team’s strong offense.
Even though Foothill Tech did not achieve a place in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) post season, the girls ended their league games with tearful goodbyes to their fellow seniors. The love the girls shared this season brings about hopes for a new and perhaps more victorious season.
