The Foothill Technology High School (Foothill Tech) boys volleyball team finished their 2024 season with an overall record of 5-14-2 and a league record of 1-9. Despite not making it to California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) postseason the Dragons had lots to be proud of in their season and improved as a team.
One of Foothill Tech’s top performers, Spencer Jones ‘25 spoke on the season saying, “The season as a whole wasn’t great. Just about every league game we were missing a starter.”
Foothill Tech’s last game of the season was against in-town rival Ventura High School (Ventura) where they won 3-1 ending their season on a high note.
Jones commented on the next season saying, “Next season is probably going to be mostly, if not all seniors, and it’s looking like we’ll be better than last year.”
Despite the rough season most of the Dragons will be returning for the 2024-2025 season as they look to improve.
