Chandler Vu: Should we go to war with Iran?

The question should be whether or not to go to open war with them.  As we’ve seen from our countless efforts in the past, open war with these Jihad-extremists is a recipe for absolute disaster. Instead of falling into the same pattern that has all but led to the complete disembowelment of the United States, our government should use the Navy SEALs.

This elite pack of battle born warriors bred from the fiery pits of the US Special Operations Command, have exhibited spectacular results in dealing with the Middle East. Instead of fumbling around a broad area of enemy territory, the SEALs use advanced tactics, superior training, and top-of-the-line technology to seek, surgically implant, and destroy/extract/recon a target.

These super soldiers demonstrated their proficiency in profession during the raid on Osama Bin Laden’s fortress compound on May 2, 2011.  The mission roster included the elite of the elite SEAL Team 6 or DEVGRU (United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group).  These fearless fighters stormed his compound and, while simultaneously subduing the militant guarding force within the compound, took down the dastardly terrorist.

If this operation was conducted with such efficiency and success then why can’t we use them for a more “preventive measure”?  Why can’t we use our Spartans to get a jump on the soon-to-be-nuclear Iran and remove its aggressive leadership before an American city is turned into debris?  Because of international opinion?  In my opinion, international opinion stops mattering when American citizens are severely threatened.
